A moving story spanning the decades between WW2 and the present day. Ireland, 1943: a dying airman gives a ring to a local townsperson to return to his girlfriend in the USA. Fifty years later it is discovered and the finder is determined to uncover the history behind it. An emotional, time-travelling romance with fine performances froma starry cast.
